| NC - Port of Wilmington |
Located near the heart of Cape Fear River, which flows into the Atlantic Ocean,
Wilmington was designated as the
"Port City" of North Carolina.
Nautilus International Holding Corporation expanded to operations on the east coast
through the purchase of Southeast Crescent Shipping Company. Southeast Crescent
has a rich and varied history dating back to 1982. Based in the Port of Wilmington,
North Carolina, Southeast Crescent provides a variety of stevedoring, terminal services,
and agency services for the maritime community. Since its integration, Southeast
Crescent has provided invaluable service to the Nautilus family of companies including
the provision of management to cruise operations in both the ports of Charleston
and Boston as well as generating new strategic partnerships with several customers.
Southeast Crescent Shipping Company’s reputation and experience have greatly assisted
Nautilus in attracting and retaining new business. Their suite of services (stevedore,
terminal operator, and agency services) provides synergy to Nautilus’ philosophy
of total package service for our customers.
In December, 2007, Nautilus expanded again with the purchase of Cape Fear Bulk,
LLC. Cape Fear Bulk specializes in the receiving, warehousing, packaging and distribution
of bulk fertilizer products for the agriculture market in North Carolina. Cape Fear
Bulk, which has a 262,000 square foot warehouse in the Port of Wilmington, provides
blending and packaging services as well as truck and rail loading capability.
If you are a steamship line with existing business on the east or gulf coasts, or
are looking for a reputable partner to start a new operation, please give us a call.
